A pan-European EU COST Action investigating the wider consequences of autonomous and connected vehicles — not the technology itself, but what it means for cities. NSA Hub contributed to research on how autonomous mobility could reshape travel behavior, car ownership and sharing patterns, residential location choice, and the allocation of urban space. The network also examined the social, ethical, and institutional dimensions of different deployment scenarios, producing policy guidance for governments preparing for a transition whose timing remains uncertain but whose planning implications are already here.
