A four-year EU COST Action bringing together researchers across Europe to develop practical methods for incorporating equity into transport planning and appraisal. NSA Hub contributed to methodologies linking transport accessibility with distributional analysis — examining how infrastructure investments affect different income groups, genders, and geographies. The work fed into frameworks for social welfare-based project evaluation, helping shift appraisal practice beyond aggregate efficiency toward explicit consideration of who benefits and who bears the cost.
